| HGV
and PSV Test Fees are revised every April. Regulations
are also frequently updated. Current revisions include:
Notifying Alterations To HGV's, HGV replating to 44tonnes,
PSV Seat Belt changes and PSV Accessibility requirements.
Testing
staff are deployed across the country throughout a network
of VOSA Test Stations and at HGV and PSV DPs. Tests
for lorries and can only be conducted by VOSA, either
at one of our test stations or at a designated premises
(DP) authorised by VOSA.
HGV
and PSV tests are split into 4 distinct sections to
test the roadworthiness of a vehicle. Bookings can be
made at our stations by fax, letter or phone call. If
you disagree with a test result, VOSA has an Appeals
process to respond to any queries raised.
VOSA also offers a number of additional Customer Services.
These include: slot booking, weekend testing, pre-funded
accounts, and a Prohibition Clearance service.
